Proof of Progress

As promised here are pics of our progress thus far. We've focused on the 2nd floor guest area/fritz's studio. This space was divided to inlcude two guest bedrooms, a hallway (we dropped the ceilings to 8 ft and created a loft area), a laundry closet, utility closet, full guest bath, studio kitchenette, studio full bath and fritz's studio. They also demoed the master bedroom to get rid of a wall and open space for the master bath/dressing room. They've turned the master into their tool/workspace. They also started framing/drywall in the downstairs studio bath so we can start using that while they finish the upstairs baths. So without further a do this what Roger and Fritz have accomplished since Roger arrived June 1 (I take no credit in the manual labor, my job was to take pictures and to put together everything for the loan)

I'm going to have to guestimate the start date of these images. Roger arrived on June 1 and I broke the camera about shortly after so I'm going to say June 5th is the start of this work.

Quick Update!!!!!!

The appraisal came in yesterday at $250,000 (thank you to everyone who has participated in the chant of 210+) !!!!!
The appraiser had to write it as a cost approach since there is nothing comprable to it within 50 miles. So now we just have to wait for the underwriters to approve the appraised value and we're home free!!!
We'll know by Wednesday so I guess the chant until then will be "Appraisal YES! Appraisal YES!"
I'll let you know as soon as we hear the news.....

What is art?

The other night Fritz and I started talking about the "New Zoo Revue" we ended up searching YouTube for clips and came across this:

I've been practicing the dance moves and I can't stop singing the catchy tune of "That's Art"
